Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Inboxwell software and website.
Effective August 12, 2026
The project
Inboxwell is an open-source Windows email client under active development. The source-code license in the GitHub repository governs your rights to copy, modify and redistribute the code; these terms govern use of the distributed service and website.
Accounts and authorization
You must have authority to connect each mailbox and comply with your mail provider's terms. You are responsible for the messages you send, account security and actions taken through your device.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Inboxwell for unlawful, deceptive, abusive or infringing activity.
- Do not attempt to harm the project infrastructure, provider services or other users.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or authorization to access a mailbox.
Third-party services
Inboxwell depends on services provided by Google, Microsoft and mail server operators. Their availability, security, policies and account decisions are outside Inboxwell's control and remain governed by their own terms.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, Inboxwell is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from all defects. Keep independent backups of important data.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the project maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of Inboxwell. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as the project evolves. Continued use after a published update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to support@gosho.app.
